Optec Korea Project

July 1, 2009

Since November 2008 Optec and its alliance partners have reviewed power plant projects in Korea and the Asia Pacific Rim.

Korea’s expansion in nuclear power has been phenomenal in recent years and planned growth exceeds 1,000MW. This has resulted in the redundancy of existing heavy/black oil power stations.

Optec has been investigating opportunities to extend plant life through diversification of the asset into discreet units of production such as waste oil treatment and high quality water treatment for industrial applications.
